Project Donations
You can give spiritual donations as well. Spiritual donations are not just “praying”, but include meeting up at a coffee shop to provide mentoring and encouragement for these individuals in an effort to get them on their feet and off the streets.
We understand that there are 52 weeks in a year, so this is quite a commitment, but if we could get these spiritual support groups to commit to certain weeks, it could be done, and it would be wonderful to watch these individuals progress throughout the year. There is even an idea that in the future one may choose to “adopt” a young man or woman. In other words, “pick one individual to mentor and work with them for as little or as long as you feel led to do so.”
- Monetary Donations
- Donations of Physical Assets which can be Repaired and Resold (ex; cars, boats, and homes)
- Labor Donations
- Physical Labor
- Professional Labor
We need physical donations such as: appliances, furniture, dry goods/food products, paint, beds, use of a pressure washer/ladders, which are all things that would be wonderful to have during the set-up of this first home. Don’t worry if the items are old or out of style. Coming from living on the streets in the shadows, any bed or clothing will be appreciated. Just imagine how some of your old towels will feel so comfy and fresh when they get out of their shower. An item may hold little to no value to you, but it goes a long way in helping another person get back to feeling human again!
